I would say u need at least 180+whp to go thru the gears. But if u just DD ur car this can help u on some mpg's. But for me this tranny will help me on the tracks that I run. No more up shifting n down shifting on the turns, I could just stay in one gear.
good amount of power i agree im making high 400s atm and ill tell you when i did swap to e351 car felt a bit slower to me but i could stay in gear longer.

btw what you breaking in your trans i havent realy heared of any one breaking them under 200 hp or if so not more then 1

Yea the car does feel slower cause its in gear longer. First tranny was back when I was drag racing, I was using slicks on stock tranny, blew three holes on the tranny after like about 30 passes through out the time I went to drag. Second one was when I wad doing time attack with a act 6 puck clutch I lost 4th gear. My third one again doing time attack, but this time I ended losing 3-4 gears. Now I went back to stock clutch n a lightweight flywheel. Guess staying in gear at high rpms killed the gears. So far the e-351 is still holding up. The only reason u don't see any n/a breaking trannys cause they don't race they just show. I'm like the only scion out here that tracks their car. I'm very well known at the track cause I'm the only scion that races out here, well legally

i see idk they dont have problems reving i have my transmission reving 7500 rpm no problem lol i have seen 8k plus revs on accident to lol trans felt fine i have literally shredded gears lol like 3rd multiple times and 5th also.

but to average person looking to do this swap i would say dont do it your car will be slower but in your case you track it and stay in gear alot longer no need to up shift so you save time there

unless you just want better gas millage.

I have seen ur videos, but I always lose 3-4 gear especially 3 cause thats the gear that I use the most at the track. But I will turbo the car later, I'm going to get a used engine n build from there cause right now my car is 2k miles away from 100k miles. I dont want to put a turbo on it cause since day one I have been racing my car. Maybe next year ill buy an engine n used turbo kit.

Has anyone did a comparison with a turbo tC at the track between stock and e351 trannys and posted a time difference? With only swapping trannys.....

Yea I want a turbo in my car, my buddy has turbo on his tc n I know its fun to drive. But for now I have to get a used engine cause I don't think my car will be able to handle the turbo. As of right now I have better times at the track compared to my buddy n his turbo tc. I'm 2-3 sec father than he is. But the reason I'm faster cause I'm just a better driver than he is. It's fun messing with cars that are faster then me, they get surprised n come to me and ask me if I'm boosted

I don't think anyone has compared them, only because most of the scion owners don't really track their car. All they do is show. Out here in cali all scion owners just show their cars n if they do race its in the streets. Cause I'm they only scion that tracks their car, oh beside my other buddy in his s/c tc.

Yea kinda similar here in my area in CT. Theres no one else around me locally with built turbo tC's. I wana say 85-90% are Hondas and Acuras which ive done before but I wanted to try something different at the time.
