Default Engine won’t fire

So I own a manual 05 tC that had a blown engine (oil consumption problem). I bought the engine out of an automatic 09 to swap. I’m using the automatic harness and ecu. The problem I’m having now is the fuel pump isn’t getting power. I’ve changed the relays and checked fuses but everything seems to be in order. I checked the grounds from the negative terminal as well but nothing. I’m fairly certain it’s a wiring issue as the cluster gauges don’t work. The open door, battery and oil light work but that’s it. The engine turns over just fine but it won’t fire due to fuel. Any ideas where to start?

Have you changed/tested the fuel pump itself?

And not sure if there are any differences between an atx and mtx pinout, I imagine the motor side would be the same. Is everything plugged in? lol.

Yeah, I’ve changed fuel pumps. I used a test light and the wires themselves aren’t hot. Everything except for the extra transmission plugs are plugged in

Hmm, if there are different harnesses then the ECU or trans might be a factor. It might be looking for something that physically isn't there. If you still have the old engine I would try to swap the wiring over. Why wouldn't you swap it in the first place if you can clearly tell not every connection has a home?

Because I don’t have the old harness.. I do however have the manual ECU.. but what concerned me about using it was the 5th port for a plug vs the autos 4. I’m gonna try swapping it or faking a complete circuit with the trans plugs and go from there

I have a wiring diagram if it'll help you out. It's a 2007 diagram, not sure if it matches the 2005 car. It does however match your 2009 engine.

Just let me know.

you might need to flash Ecu to that key search here for that they say something about shorting our tc and ch pins . You are using your old key with new computer I don’t think that’s good

I had a similar issue got the computer flashed for 150$ and it ran. Other than that get an ohm meter and test EVERY wire.
