Default EVAP Purge Valve - How do I remove it?

I'm installing my Injen CAI atm and can't get this thing off. I've tried looking in the tech section, and while it is mentioned, doesn't really say how thing thing comes off. Please help this noob.

Yeah you're right. But damn it was hard to pull out. Had to spray some WD-40 on it. Also I noticed that 2.75" hose they provided to go on the throddle body seems way too big. Do I just clamp it down and pray it doesn't leak?
