exhaust problem

Default exhaust problem

so my exhaust is. alphaworks header, megan s, megan mid, hks axle back

something isn't hanging right and it vibrates, im not sure why. two things, if i wanted to put something on it between the pipe and the metal what would you suggest? and two anyone have pictures of the HKS hanger that you have to put on because this didn't happen with my trd im thinking i messed up that hanger.

no? i was thinking radiator hose, pipe insulation or maybe some heat wrap then a radiator hose over it.. idk this is a headache though

theres a bolt on the heatshield for the mid pipe. with my tsudo, it rattled so much. to the point it was louder than my bov.

check that

ive used high temp red rtv in between my exhaust pipe and the rear suspension, but only use it if the rattle is towards the rear of the car. all you gata do is unhook a few of your hangers till the exhaust hangs lower and apply a generous amount of rtv where it hits and let sit for a couple of hours.

your both right i found two places where it did it. one was the heat plate on the mid pipe... did you remove the plate?



and the seconds on the resuspension in the back whats rtv?

well... i just melted the freakin bolt. well, I didnt, my mechanic did. but now if you want to get the heat shield off for some reason, you have to chop it off
