so last night i was on the highway takin it easy and i decided to do a few small pulls, i did a 60-80 pull and when i was at about 75mph the car kinda hesitated and felt funny.

been running fine except i noticed im eating up alot more fuel than usual,i went out to start my car a few mins ago and it took 3 loooonnnggg cranks to get it started, ( its about 55 degrees F.)once it started, i seen a little smoke near my headlight,very little, like a burning ciggarette, and i smelled it, it smells like burning fuel....


whats goin on????

i just got it tuned so that cant be it... i think.... help!!!!

u got a log that u could send me, I'll take a look at it and let u know.
If u send me the map I could tweak it, try it if u like it just use it. What do you have? Turbo size, injectors, etc.

Things like this can happen with sudden temp changes. Not too long ago I was doing a pull and changing my fuel map and it happened just like u described, apparently it was a bit too rich. Then when I turned the car on it took a couple of cranks and then some smoke.

Send them and I'll see what I can do.

 

i dont have the map, ptuning did everything for me. i was suppost to get it on disc. i forgot it.

 

^might want to start by giving ptuning a call, im sure they stand by their tune's!

before you go tweaking your FIC, give them a call!

 

just download it to ur pc from the fic, simple as that. I wouldn't go changing that tune though, I would make a copy if I were u and email it to urself to keep it safe. Call them up and see what they say. I still wouldn't mind to see a log.

I'm confused dude....your running an Ultimate not an FIC unless you purchased one that day down ptuning?
