spray it down with cleaner.. there's one specifically for electronics... (aerosol form)

or if you're gentle.. i have some isopropyl alchy and use a cotton swab and/or swish it in a cup of it.

So I took my car in after having the Fujita on for about 500 miles on my car what is happening is about 3k rpm there is too much air going through the intake and your ECU gets confused
on how much fuel to dump in so don't get Fujita get Injen that is all your problem I am getting my Injen soon and taking Fujita off today.

I'm actually gonna' go to S.D. this weekend. Have over 600 miles so far and still no CEL. I'll let you know on the outcome when I get back. As far as cleaning the MAF, I pretty much just cleaned it with CRC electronic cleaner. They also make MAF sensor cleaner as well. We'll see what happens.

Well I guess cleaning the MAF didn't do the trick. Came back from S.D. this past weekend and this morning after 1,029 miles the CEL came on again. Damn it! Well it lasted longer than usual.

my CEL keeps coming on and off... but the way i made it go off was i tossed it into neutral, revved it to 2.5k rpm.. held it there, then went to 3k, then 4k then i just turned off my car and started it back up and it was gone

The important parts to get when cleaning the mass airflow sensor are the air temp sensor (outside, looks like a tiny q-tip with an amber head) and the wires (2 tiny things hiding deep in one of the little tunnels).

That being said, its a waste of time for solving this problem. If the mass air flow sensor or air temp sensor was dirty it would throw a CEL with a code P0171 - system too lean (fuel trim), or possibly a P0170 - system too rich, but the 171 is much more liekly. The P0101 code sounds like the intake is making the MAF sensor work out of
its recognized range, like by bringing too much air in. Or that the sensor isn't picking up the right amount of airflow and the ECU is having to correct the a/f ratio different than what the MAF is reading.

ive had my intake for about 3-5k miles. so far no problems. In addition, i put like an average 400 to 500 miles a week, and still no problems. Just rattling when idle, but thats common.
