Default fuzzbawl's tC - finally done!

It's been a week from Hell. Removed some performance parts from a donor tC, returned it to stock, and installed the performance stuff in fuzz's car. Fuzz now has a greddy 16g turbo kit, 550cc injectors, AEM FIC, clutchmasters clutch/fidanza(I think?) flywheel, and a TRD/Quaife Limited Slip Differential. We were going to install his ARP head studs as well, but we ran out of time and I had a 9 hour drive to get home. I think over the summer or something he's going to bring it to our garage here (lift and good tools), and we're going to pull the motor and do internals as well.
The turbo kit had crappy worm clamps with the silicon boots - I couldn't believe that at all. Fuzz is ordering T-bolt clamps and another wastegate spring to replace those clamps with and to set his boost at about 10psi.

I'll let Fuzz actually recount the abject terror that has been the past 5-6 days. Here are a few pics, I know he took more, including the transmissions dissected on a work bench while I reassembled them hahaha. He's going to send them whenever he gets to a computer I think.

The turbo:

The Intercooler/piping:

Finally, the turbo installed:

Looks like a greddy kit, modified for an external wastegate.

Yeah, it was modded for a Tial wastegate w/dump tube. The turbo kit went on really easily. Didn't really have any problems at all with his car except getting the rear prothane motor mount lined up when we put the trans back in though hahaha.

If it's the GReddy kit, then it should be an 18G not 16.

It may very well be. I was told it was a 16G, but then again I didn't look at it that closely. It didn't have a standard mitsu 16G compressor housing, so it may be an 18G.

Well there was more to this than just the turbo setup - new clutch, LSD install, AEM install.
