Good Sounding Automatic Setups
Here is a clip of DC headers and Greddy ti-c axle back exhaust on my car. I had the hks. sounded similar.
I have an automatic too btw

That would be a good catback exhaust, meaning that it would run from the spipe back. You wouldn't have rasp at all. I hear that those have a really good low tone because of the larger muffler.
Personally, I think you're stressin' out a little too much. The setup you have is a good idea and as long as if it's comfortable to you...
..then DO IT!
IMO, I don't think the Tanabe will -add- to the ricer factor to be honest, especially with the sound being under 93db. I think it'll be a nice end to your exhaust. And I like it because of the fact that I won't sound like a Honda screaming down the street.
That's just my two cents. It's your tC, it's your money...therefore...it's totally up to you.

It depends, kiddo.
If you're looking for performance and sound: Header, S-Pipe, Mid-Pipe, Axle Back with a resonator.
Looking for just the power...scrap the resonator.
Just sound: Keep the Axleback and call it a day.
And go with Tanabe...can't go wrong.

And by the way you're stressing out, have a muffler shop install it for you.

i just want everything to be right
The tanabe exhaust is only the axleback portion. an axleback is only the muffler.. the section that connects to your midpipe. YOU DONT NEED ANYTHING ELSE.
a complete kit is a midpipe and axleback.. aka a catback exhaust. the magnaflow link u posted is a catback.
like they said.. if you want power, get the whole exhaust system.. if you want it just for looks and sound, just get an axleback exhaust.
anything else?

My setup is sooooooo nice....sounds awesome!!
Tsudo 4-2-1 header and S-pipe = Precision Muffler Mid-pipe w/ 30 inch resonator = HKS Hi-Power Exhaust
Car feels so much stronger!! Sound is perfect deep and loud when you are on it and low and quiet when driving normally.
