You had the old version of the Megan headers with the cat in? I thought those were obsolete.

Wow Stu sorry to hear that ish* happened to you. At least you have a good sense of humor about it.
All these stories I hear make me want to start my own business, I mean seriously I know that ish* happens but a lot of these companies out there want to get the cheapest made product and sell it for the most money. That's life I guess.
But if I ever put my name on any product that thing would have to be absolutely perfect.

I am going to cancel my MMW Header order.. I shot them an email asking for them to cancel. Hopefully I hear something back from them.

First of all, that header shouldn't be on the car... It was RECALLED by Megan Racing and would have been replaced free of charge by them no problem... It had to do with faulty cat constuction and such, and their new version header seems to be of much higher quality.

Secondly, I've never had anything but GREAT service and support for those guys... which is more than I can say about many other tC supporting companies...

Sucks to see that happen... I know you'll like the new setup... just make sure to wipe it down nice before you run your ride, so it's nice, oil free and shiney!

wow dude that sux.. i don't think alot of companies would want to make cheap products because they would end up gatting a bad rep. And unfortunately, your headers broke. Im sure there is something they can do to repay you other than a new header.

I'll go and take some pics shortly and get those up.. I wouldn't say a "crack" but more like the underside CF and clear coat has started to come apart from one another, plus there is a crease in the material too.. odd but its most likely from the heat.

Dave can vouch... my car sounded like it should have been on the track running 6 second passes.

Its too bad you did not finish installing it before you drove it for that many miles.

Yeah.. either way they are obsolete and should have been replaced.. I guess I must have been out of the loop on that one. Honestly though.. from the looks of the welds.. they could have been flicked and broken.. they were terrible. I am sure this new header should be more than capiable to handle the beatin that I put it through
