I'm not sure its fair to post a title like that making Megan look bad when it was your fault because you did not install it correctly. I'm amazed it lasted that long along with your other mods. Postings like this happen too often and propagate bogus info.. Happens to ZPI all the time.

I agree on the install part... but I am sorry, those are horrible welds.

 

You get what you pay for, I assume those welds were designed to hold if installed correctly. Why would they want to overkill on the welds and bring up costs when the header is bolted to the block and will not move?

This is why some people should not be allowed to mod cars. I'm almost to a point where I'm embarassed to own a tc.

 

Schuller, the title can be taken in several ways.. but the fact that I stated that they aren't at fault should be enough to show that I am not bashing them, nor am I downing them.. I totally love my header, and that is why I looked into getting another one from them, because I love the way it sounds compared to others. Megan is a great company and by-far has had the quickest responses to my questions and requests.

Another point that you might want to let sink in, my tC is probally one of, if not thee highest mileage tC in the US. I have well over 63K on it, and not to mention, almost 40K of those are with the Megan Header on.. so believe me when I tell you.. that thing has been through a lot. With the issues they were having at first.. I didn't have it.. every other issue.. I didn't have it.. but I think it has met the end of its life span..

This comes at a time I am in the middle of selling my Megan header. I'm sure the soon to be prood new owner is watching.

Your post are cool but there is always a dozen butt plugs out there lurking around ready to crawl out from under a rock just waiting to ruin a good thread. Happens almost every time.

 

 

I feel ya. I am pretty straight forward with my postings.. I hate trying to mislead people, lying to make someone sound bad, or giving a company a bad rep without first trying to sort the whole thing out myself. Megan is a great company from what I've seen... and I still want their product on my car.
