And for what reason could you possibly need to go over 127mph?

 

cause i dont like to be held back,besides there is a 350Z that i can keep up with past 127 every mourning

 

even without it you wont go much faster before you run out of gear.

i have some one working on some gears for me , i got a tranny from the junk yard so we are going to fix that

OK first off, all sciontcnoics was asking is if anyone could take the govener. He wasnt asking everyone to tell him not to go faster and put down his idea, thats not why this site is here so stop bashin him! And Dskinner I have just intake exhaust and nitrous (75) shot and I will walk all over a 350z even with all of my stereo equipment and yes he was racing me on the freeway! If there is anyone that may have info on gettin the govener remover if would be much appreciated and I mean who I can go through to have the ECU flashed. Please no more bashing other members who just have questions because there are a lot of people who would lover to have theirs removed im sure of it. Thanks to anyone who may be able to helps us out!

 

I didn't say anything about the 350Z, except for the fact that he would share the same jail cell. We (as the "bashers") are just saying that streetracing is... stupid.

It is stupid to race on the streets. We aren't trying to bash anyone, we're just looking out for our fellow Scion enthusiasts (as well as anyone else, including those on scooters, who are out there).

Second, his "those who speed" comment pretty much opened him up. That is stupid, b rated movie garbage. Yeah, we all speed, we all like to find a place and a chance to open up. But those movie cliche "I'm a badass and speed" comments are just dumb.

I think there is a system to remove the limiter, just not sure where. And some do seem confused. Have never looked for the following reasons:

-With stock gearing it is POINTLESS
-If you DO change the gearing, Unless you can find a round track or BIG road course you will NEVER need it, unless you are a complete moron and are out running 140+ on public roads every day. You have about a million other things to do and thousands to spend before you need to top 127 on a drag strip in this car.

 

How am I trying to prove a point by sayin I have NOS, its just the same as saying I have a turbo or supercharger. I know everytime I drive fast I take the risk of getting injured, injuring someone else, and even my baby but it is my choice and im willing to take that risk and there are thousands of others that do it ever single day. Ever seen the Gumball road rally with cars that are worth more than houses? OK now besides the fact of gearing and not being on a track or whatever, it would be nice to be able to bring it close to redline and not have to worry about bouncing offa rev limiter. And again if anyone knows who to would be able to remove the limiter please post a reply otherwise dont post anything. Thats all were lookin for, no more oppinions please!
