those are pretty darn good numbers but it still makes me sick to my stomach thinking the 08 hondas can put down over 250 all motor without pistons

Haha... my bad. It's the old age. I switched back to regular because of the posts I read plus the prices have been going up.

I don't think so because you are more limited to what you can do with the Blue. At least that's what Giles told me. But Giles could answer that one for you. The only way would be to get some Dyno numbers on it.

It shouldn't hurt it in any way. If anything, it's helping it because you're adjusting the air fuel ratio so that you get better performance. If you are barely pushing the pedal down, (about 30% throttle), the car is going to drive economical. If you press the pedal past that, then it's going to give you that extra power. That's all part of the tuning that Giles did. This car is my daily drive too.

This may sound silly but I had this question come up and since I have not studying tuning yet this may be the best thread to ask in...

So you tuned solely with the unit and PnP harness right? Since you were tuning N/A you didnt have to use a pressure sensor like everyone needs on boost?

It's not a silly question. Here's the response from Giles, the guy who did the tuning..

"Pressure sensor not needed.... some modifications (that cannot be published) were made to the plug’n’play harness to achieve our desired goals ..."

Hope that helps.

nice numbers with i/h/e, have you looked into changing the 3 pulleys and intake manifold as well? do you think the AEM fic will be able to do the same if not more or less? again nice numbers you posted and now i'm gonna look into tuning my car as well.

At this point, I don't know what the next step will be. I've been thinking about the pulleys but not sure how much more HP I'm going to get with them. I haven't looked at the intake manifold at all. I need to start doing some research on both and see which way I want to go. I don't even know how much each of the 2 is going to run me.

Pulleys r cheap that manifold is 600$
Pulley set is 200 or so n pulleys make about 7hp on stock cars.

So if Pulleys make around 7, and the Crower Cams are said to make 15-18, he can break the 200whp hopefully.

Good gains. I plan on getting my N/A dyno'd sometime next week.

I just ordered the NST pulley set from WeSellCarParts....$250 and the underdrive belt from NST directly. Hopefully, i'll get those in before I take it to be dyno'd.

I also just got the Greddy e-Manage Ultimate....I haven't gotten the tC harness yet though, i'll get in contact with Greddy, I think they have them on their website for $230.

That manifold is a pretty penny and it isn't a direct swap, what i've been told is that it takes some degree of modification to get it to fit correctly.

Plus I would rather keep the stock plastic manifold for my setup.

Those numbers are pure estimates and the type of dyno and measures used to estimate hp gains varies drastically. If he were to put his car on a DynoJet it would dyno at 200whp, but that's because of the type of dyno, there are a lot of factors. tCpete has a fully built motor N/A motor and last I checked, don't quote me on this, still hadn't cracked 200whp. Surely, the cams and raising the rev limiter would help but changing the cams is a PITA and not a 'oh I have 3 hours to spare' type of task.
