positive if you have a sound system pushing some serius power.

negative because it wont do much of anything performance wise

I only have a 550 true watt alpine. But i just changed my stock radio to a touchscreen dvd player. and now my speakers break up when i try 2 play them loud.. wonder if ground wires will help that.. Or i just might have to buy new speakers or an extra amp..

you probably need to replace your speakers. and if you do that, you might as well get a 4 way amp to power them, and replace all the speaker wire with a better wire.

When I first installed my groundfusion 8 point grouding kit I had the stock radio setup and it got noticably louder. A grounding kit and a voltage stabalizer can only make the voltage across the entire car better overall, just how much better than just one or the other is the question thats difficult to answer.

the only reason i noticed it was b/c i had a fav volume setting for when I had my windows up and that was 34 and I was listening to Jet - cold hard _____ alot in the summer. after the install 34 was so loud it hurt my ears a bit so the new setting was 32, two increments was all the difference but it was fefinetly there.

You installed a ground wire kit, and then your car wouldn't start?

This may top the guy that tapped his valve cover for nitrous.

heh, you probably tried to ground something that was hot(positive) and got a nice feedback from it. If you unhooked everything and your car still doesnt start look for a poped fuse, if you cant find one, disconnect the positive battery terminal for 10mins and then try again.
