What did he end up charging you to put the resonator on? Is the guy open tomarrow? lol I just got my resonator today in the mail

 

Well he ordered the resonator for me and installed it. He only charge me $85. If you already have the part I am sure he would do it for a couple of dollars. He is open so do you want me to find out how much and when he will be available?

 

That would be great! I want this on as soon as possible, plus my guy can't do it untill tuesday.

 

Alright he is gone for the day but I left him a message. As soon as he calls me back, I will let ya know. BTW I ordered those key plugs. They looked real clean and I hope you don't mind, lol!

Get a resonator put on!

 

Which brand is best, restricts the least but kills the noise I am about to commit header murder!!!

 

^^ I feel the same exact way! I just got my header and exhaust installed this past weekend and after a day I thought I was about to go crazy. I'm currently looking into that resonator.

 

Just went to a local muffler shop and got a no name resonator it completely shut my car up. I am officially sane again unfortunately it worked a little too good. My car seems quieter than before I had my header on either that or I was getting used to the rice noise.

search for scion tc hks ti and u can find some video.. i got hks custom cat back.. no cat but i have a 24 inch magnaflow resoantor and megan headers.. compare my setup to yours.. yours is raspier??? if yes.. get a resoantor plus a high flow cat.. if not then u should get two res and a high flow cat

 

So I just put on my Megan Headers and I already have a TRD AxelBack. It sounds so RASPY right now especially gettin on the freeway. But if I had them put on a 30'' Resonator would that kill all my RASP? I dont want to hear any RASP at all and am looking for good clean low rumble..

Note: I just put in an Injen intake and still have stock Mid-Pipe & S-Pipe

 

i used to have a megan header and tsudo catback setup. I kept the midpipe, switched the axleback to HKS and put 2 18" resonators and it sounds beautiful as ever.

 

if u dont want rasp then loose the headers...............
