Default how will it sound?

i have an 07 tc
i currently have injen ses axleback exhaust and injen cold air intake. i love how she sounds...
now im thinking about adding the dc sports header.
i really really dont want the raspy sound that alot of headers give. and i dont really want to worry about the entire exhaust set up with new cats and adding resonators and all that mess. anyone have this setup or know how it will sound? please help!!! any input welcome. thanks.

It'll be loud and raspy without any work on the mid-pipe.

I don't have have that exhaust but any new header will give you the raspy sound, because all they do is delete the cat, which is like having straight pipes. The muffler wont do anything emissions wise, its all sound. Therefore, with headers and that exhaust, you are 100% likely to get that nasty rasp sound. However, if you dont want that rasp, your in luck because you have the axelback. You can order a new s-pipe, and get a custom midpipe with 2 15s or one 30 (which i have, no rasp, costed me 65 from magnaflow). it is expensive, but worth it. Oh and only doing headers into stock midpipe and such does absolutely nothing for your performance. Dont bother until you have money to finish the whole thing. Your basically trying to squeeze maximum flow into minimum flow, which does nothing performance wise. I was at the exact same point as you. But i will tell you that do finish it, ive heard that exact setup and it is VERY NICE. Sorry to let you know this, but you will have rasp, unless you finish the whole exhaust w/ resonators. Good luck

It's up to you. I'm dealing with my Megan+TRD combo right now. It's loud for sure, but the rasp is tolerable if I don't put the hammer down.
