Default Header + High flow cat

My buddy was thinking about buying a megan header but having a high flow cat fabricated where the collector is... I understand you loose power but as apposed to having a 18" res... Has any one done it or tried it ?

I still suggest a resonator on the midpipe as well.

That would pretty much kill any rasp from my understanding, so he'd be better off with a mmw header and just chop his 4" res out and throw a high flow in its place... I beleive it has a 10" res in the back

well first of all if you want a cat on the car put it on the midpipe no point on putting it on a aftermarket header might as well keep the stock on...i have the megan header along with megans drift spec with a aftermarket 18 inch resantor on...sounds good not much rasp at all....

He has the Megan mid pipe with the trd axle back not gonna lie it sound sick.. It actually made me consider buying one down the road... I have seen a ton of exhaust videos that have any header you could name but nothing but rasp. I figure since your taking the last cat out, putting one in would take care of most of it. He just wants to keep the deep tone of the trd.
