i noticed within the last couple of weeks that every time i downshift to second gear and the rpm's are around 3000-4000 there is some sort of somewhat grinding noise coming from my engine or transmission.

It happens when I am in first gear and i accelerate to about 3000rpm then let go of the gas and while the rpms are dropping i hear this noise again.

Does anyone know what this could be?? Im a litle worried now

 

Why are you worried, thats what warranty's are for, just take it in.

The only thing i notice with my tc is while i am decelerating i hear a whine that i think is just from the wheels, its not that is it?

i have stuff done to my car like header, intake, s pipe....im not sure what they are gonna say after they see that

 

u just hear it when ur at 3000-4000 rpms??? u dont hear anything when u turn the car on and have it at idle??? do race alot?? it may or may not be this, but u might have busted ur flywheel bolts. u can simply jack up ur car and see if the flywheel spins freely when u try to turn it with ur hands. if thats not it, then i wouldn't know what else it could be. like everybody else, take it to the dealer and have them check it out. there's a post on here somewhere and it says that having aftermarket product on ur car cannot void the warranty unless the dealer can prove to u that the part u installed messed up the motor. ill look for it so that u can print it out and take it to the dealer and shove it in there face if they try to come at u with all that bull____ of ur aftermarket products....

yea it happens when i downshift from 3rd to second and the rpm's are around 4000 or less and while it is dropping but it doesnt happen at idle. ill check for the flywheel thing tonight but ill def take it to the dealership and have them check it out....

i had that too this morning... didn't really worried about it... but do you have an engine dampener? because i just thought that the noise that i heard... ill still check... but yeah you could go to the dealer business time? if i think that that also is my problem ill let you know and if i went to the dealer ill also let you know... could you inform me too... thanks.. hope it's not bad...
