werd. i was up in Saratoga hill on those twisties and boy was that fun! stayed in 3rd most of the time, sometimes dropping to 2nd if i'm goin too damn fast and not enough distance to brake, lol. good times

when i drove my car home from the dealership i had mine in 3rd by accident so now i'm paranoid i broke it

my previous statement was if you were gonna do it you should let off the gas.. that doesnt mean actually do it..

I think the only reason those gears are available on an a/t is for ENGINE BRAKING going down hills. Let the ECU do your shifting. Do you guys shift to N to roll slightly when at red lights on a hill too?

I did it out of pure curiosity. A friend of mine who runs down the track all the time told me that some transmissions run at different gear ratios like this... I figured I'd try it... Coudln't hurt... Obviously on our cars, that's not true!

Anyway.... i'm keepin it in D at the track.
