Default How to remove belt tension bolt

My friend and I are trying to install an NST underdrive pulley and we'ere having a real hard time loosening the tension bolt to get the belt off. I've searched and reviewed the DIY threads. I can't get my breaker bar in there and couldn't get it off with a socket wrench. Do I just need a thinner breaker bar that will fit in the area? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

the belt tensioner is self-adjustable. you will need your buddy to push on the tensioner bolt(with a breaker bar) while you put on the belt on. after the belt is on, just tell your friend to let go and the belt will go back to its original tension. no need to adjust the tension like other cars.
