i just bought a tsudo header/s pipe, does anyone know a good resonator to use so that i dont have that raspy sound? so my setup is right now tsudo header-tsudo s pipe-megan midpipe-tanabe axel back

 

All resonators pretty much do the exact same thing, the brand isnt' going to change how much or how little rasp their is. What does, is the length.

A lot of users on here use Magnaflow, but you can save a lot of money and have a generic one installed your local exhaust shop.

 

aero25 resonator did well for me on my tsudo cat back, no headers though but sounds awesome.. but yeah you need a more than just one resonator or get a really big one like a 30"

 

yup - go to your muffler shop and the should have a whole bin of them .... get two smaller ones (12"-14" each) or one larger one. You will get some rasp if you only get one smaller one. My catback came with one 14" and I added another one ...sounds great.

^ thats what i did - i went there to ask questions - i talked to the guy for ten min and told them to do the work - total time there was 1hr.

 

try vibrant resonator too, i think there is one for sale in here..

 

I've got a 33" magnaflow resonator on my custom mid-pipe, I love it!

 

^ i bet - the sound, im sure, is great over someone who has the same exhaust w/o it. Did you have any resonator on before it? If not, tell people the sound difference

 

Oh yeah for a bout a month or 2 I ran my dc 4-1 header with stock s and mid pipe and tanabe axel back. Sounded great untill 2800 rpm haha then it was so raspy it honestly sounded like the muffler was about to rattle off any moment. Once I got the custom s- and mid-pipe made with a big a$$ resonator, the sound difference was huge. It's a bit queter, but no rasp and its very deep. I get lots of compliments on it.

 

ya - same w/ mine - people dont understand but the sound difference is very much so there - I didnt think they had my car started when i was given the key back from the muffler shop ...they had it running and i didnt know.
