So as a feeler, are these headers offered by the companies shorty, mid length or longtube headers? Sorry if I'm too used to domestic jargon...

 

actually i love how it sounds other than the rasp, which looks like it disappears with a resonator...and i got my header cheap with connections

Long tube mostly for 4 to 1's(on domestics these might be considered MID length)
i think DC sports and MMW "might" have shorter runners since they are 4 2 1's(but i could be wrong)

you should be able to get most 14 to 16" resonators at regular muffler shops'
22" and 33" with 6" bodies you might have to order online.

by the way if you some how find a Alphawerks header you will need a 33" lomg 6" body magnapack
our car will fit one of these in towards the rear.
also stay away fron any small canister axle backs such as Greddy evo2,TRD and DC sports if your running a header.

OBX racing header is nice and it comes with the s pipe. perfect fit and finish for under $200 all stainless

 

All a resonator is is a tube with little fin'like things inside. I was going to get mine online but when I stopped by the muffler shop they had a bunch of them so I went with theirs. There are different ones but the concept itself is the same so I went with their $40 one instead of the $80 one from magnaflow.
