Just picked up the november issue of import tuner, and they test the fujita cai, greddy axel back exhaust, and megans headers on an 07 scion tc..

The megans headers showed some impressive gains, sold me on them for headers.

anyways, thought some people might be interested to know.. so.. go buy the mag

 

I loved my megan racing header prior to going turbo... good price, nice appearance, decent tone with the right exhaust.... others have more mid range performance though, but it's a good lil setup.

What was the power gain on each one?

 

which greddy exhaust?

dt? sp2? evo?

 

the numbers go as follows:

fujita cai: +5.4 hp, and +2.5 tq
Greddy DT Exhaust: +3.1 hp, and +3.0 tq
Megan Racing Header: +7.5 hp, and +1.5 tq

Baseline dyno run: 149.7 hp, and 154.0 tq at
After mods: 165.7 hp and 161 tq

they advised to go at your own risk with the header, cause removing the cat...blah blah blah, but overall a nice gain for i/h/e

 

I really dispise that Greddy DT exhaust.

 

baseline dyno of 149.7 HP?!?! i also saw the magazine and couldn't believe it...
i thought MT tC's usually baselined around 135 HP - 140 HP.

 

All dynos are different, as well as each car, just use the baseline in this case to determine the gains.

 

aslo the baseline run was done at around 77.4 degrees.....
