and there is no need to fear of hydrolocking. anyone who has seen where the filter is on a tC can tell you that.

Default SRI

I have been running the SRI over the last 6 months and love it, I had the CAI but with the fear of hydrolocking it I changed to SRi, no with my new grill from grillcraft that is completley open all around, there is a good chance water will get in. THe sound is great I have noticable power but I also have the TRD exhaust, with the s-pipe and AW headers on the way. I love the Injen SRI good investment very throaty sound, no CEL probs.

i have mine in SRI mode for months now and I have no problems. I tried to do the full CAI last week but the dang tube kept fighting me and now its very scratched and I thing i might have bent one of the openings, i have taken it as a sign from above that I should just leave it be.

and it works wonders with the TRD exhaust! just plain beautiful it is.

My short-ram setup with Injen has been working beautifully in conjunction with my TRD exhaust. I can't really emphasize enough how much it has changed the sound from before when I had the TRD exhaust alone.

My gas mileage sucks because I'm all city, and I just love the sound of my car too much for my wallet's good. I'm going to try out the cold air setup when I get a free weekend.
