Hey everyone, I just installed an Injen CAI with my friend and the sound is incredible. Everything is else is stock in the car. Just wanted to make sure everyone else knows what im talking about and that sound isnt something bad. PLease reaasure me

 

I know the sound you are talking about, at first hearing it I was working. Its just the sound of sucking more air in, ALSO its the sound that this particular air filter creates. Its a deep throaty sound right?

yeha..its incredible. i had the biggest smile on my face when i heard it ... so thats the nromal sound right, i installed it correctly? haha

 

Yep, mine still has a slight vibration sound. I think mine is vibrating up against something at low RPM's. I am just to lazy lately to take it back apart and re-check.

It just sounds like its sucking in alot of air. This is normal its a result of how the CAI is built. In fact, if you still had the stock intake on you could hear that same sound if you played with the throttle just right. Our throttle bodies are actually made to produce that same sound.

 

I hear and feel some vibration at around 3k rpm, it disappears after 3.5k or up, is this normal? it's kinda annoying. It sounds like the whole CAI is vibrating so hard. So few days ago, I toot it off and put it back to make sure everythings tight but I still hear that.

 

You think that it sounds sweet now, pair it up with the Injen exhaust and you'll end up drooling when hear them together. I know I get all warm and fuzzy.
