i was thinking about getting a k& n air filter and i was wondering how easy it would be to install it myself. does anyone have pictures or a guid to install it?

If its just the air filter, pop the old one out and pop in the new one. There are just two steel clips to undo to open the air filter housing.

Now if you're talking about an intake system, that's another story.

I just got the K&N filter yesterday and installed it. If you get the filter from Kragan, they have a special right now where they'll give you a filter care kit (valued @ $16) free. I paid just over $50 tax included. The filtered comes pre-oiled and ready for install.

Yep... really easy, snap off, pull out, put in, snap on... not too much of a gain, but nice to be able to clean and not have to replace all the time...
