installing INJEN CAI
The blue Amsoil filter is nice and pretty much maintenance free. I hated re-oiling the K&N I used to have for a different car. I like the intake and did not pay too much for it. I found it super cheap at a somewhat popular website and got a different one to match it b/c I had already done business with them. It was easy, just like the install. Putting the CA pipe on this weekend if weather/time permit. So far, $$$ well spent. Next is exhaust if I can choose a good one for a decent price.
you can buy the filter seperate....but now,i think injen has included a maintaince free filter
you can put any filter on it as long as it fits, but like someone mention injen updated the filter so no need for it....im the one that needs it bought mine a year ago....but gonna update to the oil free one
so I installed the intake but I didn't relocate the ground to the frame. I just kept the ground where it was and put the vibra mount over it. Do you think that's going to cause any issue because I certainly don't notice anything wrong.
