the Fruit of my hardwork today... the temp outside was like 45 degree... hahah... But when you start working you wont feel it. Nway, I've done test driving it and I love the sound it creates especially when you hit 3500 rpm. I heard this baby gives more mpg. I'll update this once I confirm it.
However, I feel like my acceleration decreased even in high RPM. Is that normal?

Finally got mine put on but I had the same problems everybody else had which is getting the tube through the fender hole without scratching it is impossible.

I even had to bend back the hole some with pliers just to get it to wiggle through. I wrapped the damn thing in a t-shirt and this is how it still came out

I wish there was some way to repaint it and match the color but I know it would match exactly.

You could always sand down the entire thing and polish it, OR paint it an entirely different color.

Is there a difference in sound from the short ram to running both pipes ?

A little bit.....my engine (b/f I got used to it) was a little throatier but not a whole bunch of difference. A little quieter since it is farther away from driver but you can still hear sucking sound.

I just un-installed the CAI portion of my intake because my car died yesterday in pouring rain. I found a small bit of water inside the filter and assume that's the problem. I definitely didn't submerge it because the filter sits up pretty high and I have my fender liners so it's sort of scary to know that such a tiny bit of water will cause problems. My car is running normally now thankfully, but I was worried.

I would say unless you have concrete evidence that the CAI and little amount of water being "found" was the cause, it's a bit of a stretch to say the CAI caused it. I personally had my vehicle in deep water near the headlight and never had the problem. And it actually takes a fair amount of water to mess anything up. Also, if you did suck up water it's not likely your vehicle would be running normally now.

It's done this twice since I installed the intake, both times during rain, so I'm 99.9% sure it's related to the CAI. I've had the car 5 years and never had another problem with it like this.
