aaaah, you kill me slowpuke.
enough about moms...so the joke goes.
i gotta agree, nothing i've seen is really worth the money so far. $200 for an intake that gives me 5 hp and kills my starting line torque...no thanks.
i guess i'm not hardcore enough to ride with the CEL on. my biggest problem with that is when a real problem does occur, i don't knoow any differently and just keep driving around like always! might as well slap some nail polish on me and a set of high heels on me.
i like what you said about our cars cars not being restrictive. i think we get a good balance out of box, there must be room to make that 2.4 roar. otherwise we all got hosed on an overweight chunk of iron.

thanks for pointing that out duston.
to me, $200 is right at the point where i don't mind spending it if i get something, but if it don't its enough to ____ me off. just know that dynos are not 'all-telling' and each is different. the only REAL way to know is to get the dang thing! if its suckier than the mail tube at the Empire State Building in Elf, spount off on the forum and we'll be all the wiser. me, i'm gonna hold off for a while on the intake/header gig. turbo may in the future for me and mine.
happy shopping.

Yea okay I agree. Like dustin said and you replied the intake does not loose low end tq.

The whole CEL thing kills me with everyone! I mean maybe im just ignorant, but Ive been in multiple cars that have thrown CELs and there years old. Its not a problem at all.

Totaling in at $900 for the Intake StgII, HEader, And TB is not that bad.

And if the ____ sucks then lol it sucks!

Um low end torque loss from the intake in general maynot show on a dyno which is a full throttle pull most times starting at 3000 RPM, but will show on the street at low throttle settings off idle where people spend MOST of their time.

as far as dynos are concerned (assuming they're all accurate, or pretty close), im pretty sure this is the best performing intake at the moment, considering k&n gives about 6 and loses some torque, and a dyno of the final weapon r being sold is no where to be found, im probably going to order it in the next couple of days unless something better comes along.

Which would be a better deal... This intake at $229, or the Weapon R Secret Intake for $180

Considering all the changes that have had to be done with the weapon r, and the fact that no one can put up a dyno for it??????? id say the intake for $229
