Intake heat shields
Anyone know where I can purchase a intake heat shield like this K&N one separately or any other one close in this design? I have a Injen intake that's in the short-ram setup and the hot weather in Texas is going be here soon. Figure I'd do something if anything to help suck up too much hot air. Can't do the cold air setup cause I usually stay in Houston every now and then. Either that if anyone has a good custom fab way in making an actual useful heat shield then by all means post up.

those dont really do anything, especially the design you posted. I mean, just look at it. It barely covers any of the filter, and you still have all the metal piping exposed which is closer to the engine than the filter itself. If you dont care about the looks to much your better off wrapping the piping in something like this.
