If you're an auto you lose gas mileage because of CAI's. This is because you lose so much torque in the low end that it takes more power to move the car. So you're reving your car higher to just get it moving.

In most cases what you said is true but with this intake it is just messed up. The MAF readings on the K&N are screwed up. Everyone that has anything to say so far is basing off general knowledge. I'm basing it off experience and evidence from dynos.
