I'm looking to buy the K&N CAI, and had a couple of questions (yes I've searched and searched!) First, how hard is the install, and has anyone installed this intake with the AEM bypass valve? I'm not worried about hydrolocking. I was just wondering if an AEM bypass valve would make that cool blowing off sound... You know sounds kinda like "woooosh.." Please let me know, and thanks in advance!

Try using the red seach button as its more complete. Its easy to install, you have to romeve the wheel and pull back the fender liner, but its should take less than an hour. People have used the AEM bypass and no it wont sould like a blowoff valve. It only opens up if the intake gets blocked and the pressure inside the tube increases to the point of opening the valves.

 

I have a bypass valve that will do this. 3" diameter. PM me. It has been done many times on the K&N.
