KillerGlass Radiator Hose Came Out!!

I had mine on all winter and have had absolutely no problems. Yes, it is a show mod. Yes it is expensive (unless you win one in a contest hehehe). But that killerglass hose draws more people to my car and I get more questions about it than any other mod on my car. These hoses really grab people's attention.
Why don't you just get a new shrink clamp from Tim at Killerglass? They are very simple to put on yourself so you don't have to go to the dealership and have them screw it up. I shrunk the clamps in my apartment with my fiance's hair dryer. Worked great.

You know they use it these on race engines as a visual indicator of engine damage.
But yeah. Looks like the clamp part failed. I had the same problem because I didnt peel off the softer foam section off the hose. Ordered new clamps and no more problem.
BTW: It took a good half hour to cut off the clamp so I could redo the hose. It WOULD NOT COME OFF.

those special shrink hoses are made specifically for this purpose.
the only way it would fail is to improper installation.. just to make that clear to everyone.
as that hose heats up, it will only create a stronger seal over time.
also as i mentioned, those hoses are manufactured only by one company i know of and killerglass is their primary customer and even as the only one (from what i heard) the demand is overpowering.
the use of pyrex glass has been used for alot of applications. the killerglass folks have beautifully created alot of items and the question about how strong the glass is?

see for yourself.
showy it is.
its purpose? pretty.
its quality? unprecedented.
its reliability? without a doubt first-class. (that is all of course installed correctly

After my commute the next morning (where I had an extra hose, clamps, tools, and coolant in my car with me just in case), I checked it again. I could see that the clamp had tightened up from the engine heat and there was no more leak.
I have had NO problems since. If I had a heat gun, I probably would have avoided the dripping problem, but after about 20 minutes of driving, it sealed itself up nicely.
The quality of these pieces is amazing. They are pricey, but if you go to shows, this mod is well worth it. As long as you install the clamps right, you will have no problems with this piece.
