Obviously, you have never ran a business, nor does it sound like you have ever been at the forefront of running a business. You are probably one of those people that think the statement "The customer is always right" is actually true.
Now there is a brilliant man.

See, this is a perfect example why people shouldn't assume stuff on forums. Actually, I own my own business and have for over 12 years. www.projectgroup2000.com

I have 30+ employees building cellular systems across the country. If I make a promise to my customers, I HAVE to deliver. If I don't....they will move on to someone that CAN deliver and cross me off. I can make up all the excuses I want...they could give a crap less. So, in my world of business, if I make a promise...I deliver on that promise.
Then how is it that you can't understand there potential for delays in the production of a product. Do you actuall make new technological phones in your buisness? Do you have 3rd party vendors that you rely on when creating a new innovation? If so, you mean to tell me that in 12 years, ever one of your 3rd party vendors has come through at the EXACT time that you specified? If that is the case, then congratulations my friend, you are a rare business breed.

PS...I'm sure building a quality turbo system for a brand new vehicle is far from comparison in making already existing technology cellular systems across the country.

This makes NO sense Matty. Done building a kit for one person. Done designing the kit (which would be the first step actually...I hope), but not done making the one that I was going to buy that they stated was done.

How about this. Don't read threads talking about how ZPI is pi$$ing off their customers. If you have skin in the game, then keep " " you're correct. If you don't have skin in the game, then you really shouldn't keep telling people to relax their fears.

I must have overestimated your experience with turbo kits. They probably just setup the raw welds of the manifold, intake piping, and downpipe. When they build these kits, they send off the pipe design and someone else makes them. I don't believe they do in house fab other than the original setup.

Either way, did you really think they had 40 turbo kits sitting on their floors waiting for people to buy them when they just said they made ONE for a customer?

No, I presumed they had ONE already made for the customer...the one they were selling per their post . I also undersatnd turbos and what it takes to do the plumbing. Kinda why I presumed they had these kits ready. Waiting for 2 months for pipe work is a little extreme IMO. Might look at a bigger outfit to do the plumbing work.

I agree it's extreme but just because the people they rely on to do their fabrication f'd up and dropped the ball doesn't mean it's time to throw in the towel and have a hissy fit on the forums.

You took the risk when you bought it and you know it. The fact that they posted the $100/week means you can't whine about anything if the kit get's here at all anytime between now and when you pay $0.
