Low car idle problem
Hey i have a 2005 Scion Tc. I have a cold air intake for it, and i dont have a panel underneath the car. Like when i drive water goes into the engine compartment and thats not good, but when i did put a panel, my car doesnt have enough air flow to the intake so when my car idles, it idles to low and then it dies. IF anybody has this problem, please let me know how to fix it

Or convert to a short ram intake and not worry about water getting to the filter. On N/A cars it doesn't actually make a significant difference in terms of performance gains. You get maybe 2 or 3 hp (depending on the design). Looks and sounds nice tho.

More likely its gonna be your MAF sensor...
i had this same problem not to long ago where my car started up just fine but when it warms up it was jumping from like 1000rpm to 4000rpm. it would idle like below 1000rpm right? my chick had the same problem today too with her short ram intake on the m35.
go get some brake cleaner (chlorinated or something like that) and spray the crap out of your MAF sensor (gotta remove from adapter port first) than let it dry than put it back on and try it again. it shouldn't take that long cause brake cleaner dries real quick.
give that a shot and see how that goes, try getting a heat shield for your CAI since its down there.
