The CEL does not come on when the secondary cat is removed from the exhaust system. We tested that on our own cat back system.

That doesn't look like the one magnaflow is going to sell, I want to see pics of the cat back from Magnaflow themselves.

I know that the majority of magnaflow products are smog legal, so I wouldn't second guess that magnaflow is going to make a catback designed to fit after the secondary. I may be wrong though, magna flow hasn't posted any pics.

Could you even call it a cat back if it was after the 2nd cat! To me thats just an axleback! THAT WOULD BE UBER WEAK!

I think your talking about the resonator. The 2nd cat is under the car near the firewall area.

I believe the tC has a manifold cat/pre-cat and a main cat. Magnaflow cat back systems will always comply with emmissions laws and regulation unless noted or spec'ed that way. I will post pictures of the of the system on the same week it is released, not a moment sooner. You can trust that we tested various configurations and muffler placements to find the one that yielded the best performance and sound.

you can still call it a cat back after the secondary cat. Thats the whole purpose of it being called a catback. There is a main catalytic converter (Thermal Reactor) and than the secondary catalytic converter. And anything installed after is considered a cat back. :D

I know this is totally out of left field...and I'm probably jumping the gun. But will there be any plans to do a dual exhaust system if sucessful with the one your R&D'n.

I'm really digg'in the company's profile and the companies reputation. So just even having a cat-back period would be a nice addition. That and my company will started stocking some of your line for trucks and SUVs.

Neway just wonder'n, will it look similiar to your current line of import exhaust systems? Will it follow similiar design qualities as the cat-back for the xB?

reference from your website.

Waiting patiently...
