I cut off the excess pipe and used the gasket they sent me. Your gonna have to cut that extra metal to fit it to the megan catback.. no worries

So the s-pipe won't work on the megan catback unless I cut it? Can't I just use the spacer with that exhaust also?

Is this true? Because I have 2 anti-fouler's installed on the end of the o2 sensor.. I really don't want a CEL again.

Just cut that extra pipe, and put the gasket they gave you between the flanges..

Thats how all of the other spipes are..

Well, they sent me the spacer yesterday.. I attempted to install it.

The spacer they sent wouldn't line up with the bolts on the s-pipe so I could only get 1 of the bolts on.. I have a really bad leak now. I was going to put on the stock s-pipe again but it was really late and I was tired.

I'm guessing the leak is in between the midpipe & s-pipe (where I could only fit 1 bolt).. But it could be between the s-pipe & header. I had a hard time getting the stock bolts to work.. I had to cut the springs about a 1/4" to get them to work. Anyone else have that problem? I guess I need longer bolts possibily?

Ohyeah, someone mentioned this earlier in the thread..
I didn't have a problem with the o2 sensor hitting the chasis. I have 2 spark plug anti-fouler's installed on it to stop the CEL and I still didn't have the problem. There was about a 2-3 inch space in between the back of the o2 sensor and the chasis.

I have had nothing with problems with this s-pipe since I got it. I would definately not recommend it to anyone. I've had to install it twice already and I still have to take it off tonight and start cutting/grinding it.

What a freakin' "bolt on" this is.

I'm at work so I can't get a pic right now.. But the spacer looks exactly like one of the exhaust flanges..

It looks like it would work when you first look at it, then when you try to place it in between the midpipe & the s-pipe the bolts will not line up with the holes. You can get 1 bolt in, but not 2. I tryed for about an hour last night and it definately will not work unless you cut it (like you mentioned earlier).

I guess I should of just listened to you instead of wasting all of my time trying to install it without cutting.

Did anyone notice their car being alot louder with the s-pipe?

I can't tell if it's a leak or it's suppose to be that loud.

The flow out the back of the muffler feels normal when I put my hand back there.. it just sounds kind of raspy.

I didn't think the s-pipe changed the sound much.. I have a megan header & s-pipe with stock midpipe & axle back.. anyone have a similar setup?
