this is like my 5rd time trying to rip the stock cable bushing off.

This is what is looks now.


The rubber part is almost detach.

i tries to pull it out with pliers until my palm was red. it won't twist or move.

The vertical bushing came out with out any effort.

 

damn, time to upgrade to a beefier one

That clip looks awful rusted. What's left of it at least. Did you try some PB Blaster or WD40?

If a little soak doesn't work, you could get in there with a dremel.

did u try greasing it up/lube? mayeb it will slide off easier? IDK. that looks bad mine was nowhere close to looking like that, the sideway bushing is the worst to get on. are u installing DR I bushing?

 

my sideway bushing came off very easily, i have to tried PB Blaster, I have NST bushing.
