Default Mid Pipe Rattling

So i got my tsudo mid pipe put on and it started rattling against what im guessing is a heat shield or something but its is rubbing against that and the bolt thats on it....would it be a bad thing to take that off and if so any ideas? i was gonna bend the arms that the hangers are on but the wields dont look to good on it and i was afraid by doing that they were gonna break.

all you have to do is take something and indent the bolt in and it should stop rattling

Seems to be a problem with some of these, when I hit a good puddle my rattles like crazy, and I have done some work to give it clearance.

Just my 2 cents in dropping in on this thread... in all my years of custom car building, it's always better to find a part that works right than to simply resorting directly to "hit it, make a dent and that should work" method. Unless that's the only way to make clearence for something to fit right for an aftermarket or non-standard/ custom fab'd part.

I'm running a tsudo and I had the exact same problem. I ended up taking it to the shop and turns out the pipe is not welded to spec. I had the guy cut it and basically rotate the front section of the pipe and re weld it. The guy did a great job and after that it bolted up beautifully. I also had him weld in a second resonator but anyway , tsudo's pipe basically doesn't fit well.

Take the black cross bar off. It will stop the rattling. I have yet to hear the rattle since I did this more than 3 years ago.
