Default Minor issue

i have a 06 tc with about 52,000 miles........ive noticed lately that my acceleration response has been very slow, ive used fuel injector cleaner which worked good then a few days later the symptoms of slow or poor pedal response came back.......bascially if i WOT ill takr a few secs to reponse but will hesistate to go...someone told me to take out the fuel injector's and check them out they could be worn out or need to be replaced.......what do you gie think....

Ive replaced my spark plugs at 50,000 miles with the NGK...i have a CAI but the filter is clean only had it for a few thousand miles........the only thing that makes sense would be the injectors cause if there not working correctly you can loose power..........but i just want to verify if i do have to change them wil it be easy

A few things:

1) What fuel injector cleaner? Use BG44K, or even seafoam. The rest are pretty much useless for actually cleaning anything. You can get BG from a Toyota dealer, and it is what they use to clean the fuel system as well. Its expensive, but it actually works.. unlike most of the crap you can find out there.

2) Injectors should not be anywhere near worn out at 52k. Unless you just had a bad one.

3) Why did you change your plugs??? You had either Denso Iridiums (would not replace those with ANYTHING) or maybe NGK Iridiums stock. Those are not scheduled for replacement until past 100,000 miles. And they are great plugs. If you went to anything but iridiums you downgraded and changed them early.

Is your car setting any codes? If so, which ones?

Air filter been changed, and not left alone for 50,000 miles?

MAF been cleaned? If not, get some MAF cleaner, remove the MAF, DONT touch the inside of it and just spray it out well with the cleaner.

Feel like it misses at all, or just sluggish?

i run a full time shop the injector cleaner i use is chevron techron it works wonders but any injector cleaner u use that goes in a tank of gas and not pressurized through the rail you have to use at least three or four tank fulls of gas to get a good actual long lasting result from. also spark plugs never last a hundred thousand miles and are still at the performance they were new 50000 is a pretty good time to change plugs also sometimes i run into injector cleaner help a little when using it but when not using it goes right back to runnin like shizznit and it usually turns out to be a weak fuel pump and its getting close to dying also sometimes filter/strainer on the pump itself
