Default MMW Header WTF

I'm trying to get in on the deal they posted here, that runs until May... $550 for the headers and all the extra stuffins.

I've emailed em 3 times and no reply. I can't find phone numbers for em anywhere... What gives? Anybody know how to get in touch.

Maybe they're like, if we don't answer them, they'll just go away and we don't have to give em the deal. haha. Joke, I'm sure they're just busy and get a ton of emails...

Please help though, if you know how to get in touch.

Have you tried to actually purchase the item via their store? Or do you have questions or something? Have you tried to PM them here? Or reply in their Sponsored Sales thread?

If you are lookin for the phone number, you have to go to the Weapon-R website. In case you're too lazy, the number is 650-877-8280. At the prompt, press 4 then # and ask for Chris W.

Sweet! Thats good to hear. Should I expect anything for install? Anything I should do so the install runs smoothly or anything that will need to be done to do the install, like remove alternator or radiator fan?

Lets just say it was a pain in the a$$. I had to cut off the heatshield. Its easier if you take the MMW apart. Put the top half in through the engine bay and put the bottom half in from underneath. Fit them back together and secure the brackets. You might have to jostle it around a bit to make sure it doesn't rub against anything.

I did my MMW header install 2 weeks ago in my driveway. install was a breaze, and ive never done a header before.
Couple of things to keep in mind...

1. SOAK the O2 sensor in WD40 for a minimum of 20 min prior to trying to removeing them. The second O2 sensor (the one on the SPipe) dont take it off under the car...just unplug it from the car and remove it with the spipe. then when its out from under the car you can very eaisly remove the sensor. It is much easier this way. I didnt do it this way and severly damaged the threads. wasnt pretty.

2. You will need some sort of impact wrench to remove the 2 bolts that connect the spipe to the mid pipe. I used a a big man named sean, and he had a real hard time breaking them loose, but he did it.

3. The header comes apart in 2 for a reason. top half goes in from the top, bottom half from the bottom. makes install sooooo easy. THANKS MMW!!!

4. If you want the header to stay looking good make sure you clean all fingerprints off before running the car. Once burned in they wont come out.

Well thats all I can think of for now. This header is great, car is more responsive, and pulls much harder. but be forewarned...you will have rasp if you have a aftermarket exhaust. I have CC full exhaust with magnaflow muffler, and 14" resanator and i have lots of rasp. I will be upgrading to a 30" resanator and hope that will solve the problem.

Hope this Helps...Enjoy.

Thank sickscion for the quick install info. I was just making sure I dont have to move my supercharger out of the way, cuz of the long shaft. Thanks for the finger print info, i will definetly make sure to clean them before starting. dont want finger prints on there. thanks again.

There are brackets on the header that secure the two halves together.
