Was the vehicle a 4sp auto or 5sp?

 

It was a 5spd. We just installed our second header on a stock tC today, will get the dyno runs tomorrow.

Looking forwards to the next set of dyno's, and I'm thinking that this header may be on "the list" now...

LOL didnt i tell you. Header alone yields over 10hp on a tc. The closed coupled Cat design is very restrictive, the stock exhaust system although restrictive it is still capable of decently high CFM rates. The biggest bottleneck on the TC is the Header. Nice gains guys, it appears to be over 10hp but i cant make it out.

 

It tells you at the bottom of the graph...

 

Gotcha 15hp 14tq very nice Any drivability issues you guys noticed?

Adding intake and exhaust doesn't add any hp. Alas!

But wait!

15 torque gain when allowed to flow better.

Adding Intake and exhaust alone yields 8hp 8.6tq hood closed dyno, might be slightly higher hood open. Header alone no other mods stock vehicle Yields 15hp 14.2tq. Read the plots i was right . Very nice gains, now if the price was only $200 cheaper SS unit.

 

Hey MMW, was that WITH the s-pipe?

 

MW header comes with its own S pipe.

so if i go and get the alphawerks header and say..draxas s pipe i will get the same gains?

 

There should be a dyno on just the Intake+Header w/ stock exhaust to see what the gains are.
