bolt on's do add power, you two seem very biased. I know plently of people with bolt ons and a tune and they made significantly more power than stock. Did they make more power than if they boosted? No, but whatever mods a person should get is relative to the use of the car. If it's a daily driver just get an intake, header, exhaust, cams (if any), and tune it; 200 whp is plenty good for a daily driver tc, no point in going forced induction on a daily driver.
looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
Oh man, this idiocy in this post gave me a good chuckle.
Of course boost is better but the amount of time, $$$, and extra parts needed to make the car perform at peak. Most of the time, you cannot just slam on a turbo and go. There is a lot involved with it. I am sure most people realize this but just thought I would throw it out there anyway.
I dont know I not the one asking the question, but there are some fast scions on here, but making stuff faster or more powerful isnt cheap on any car really. Elvationtc ran a 12.4 on a stock internal motor, so they can be fast.

He was also cranking out around 360 to the wheels, not the 170 that bolts on will yield.
And everyone trying to defend tC's with bolt-ons, go drive a 300whp tC for a year, then go back to the N/A one. You'll realize very quickly just how slow and pathetic the car really is.
