Default Most efficient way for 220ish WHP?

I'm looking to get about around 220 to the ground. I was wondering what you guys think is the best way to get those numbers, preferably without going turbo (I would like to try and keep my warranty). Is it possible to get there without voiding it? Supercharging is an option but yeah, just looking for the best way for the best money.

thanks.

You're not going to get 220 with just bolt ons.

Either turbo/supercharged or try to get it NA by gutting the block and upping the compression w/ new pistons and redone head/cams to help it breathe better.

one word... nitrous... its the best way...

get a few bolt ons and get NST pulleys... if you get injen cold air intake, invidia s-pipe, nst pulleys, and a new axleback exhaust... then add that with nitrous... if you are auto you will be seeing with a 65 shot somewhere around 210-220 whp... if you are manual... you would see somewhere around 220-230...

thats the best route to go, and cheapest

yeah. i would like to go turbo, honestly. But right now im sitting at 30k miles and i still have 20k to go till my warranty ends, i think.

Lol yeah i knew i couldn't get far without a s/c but i guess my question was as far as internals and such whats the best way to get some more horsies.

gotta be more specific next time i guess :-)

? did you read the above posts? nitrous is your best way... you dont have to change any internals if you keep it a 75 shot or below... add a few bolt ons to that and you will be right where u want to be

turbo.... stock with a s/c will give you about 190, you would have to mod the s/c to maybe get 220 but that voids it's warranty.

I would say "yeah, what they said" but that would be wrong. Nitrous would get you there but it won't keep you there, meaning you'll pay more for the dang refills, @~$40/10lb, you would be better off going with some of the other suggestions.

As for the person who thinks a 65 shot would get you to 220 whp auto /240 whp manual, they are completely wrong. 65 shot would net you close to 200whp on a manual, maybe slightly more but definitely not 240 whp and when you speak of nitrous you need to know it isn't the whp you're gaining so much of its the tq.

If you have an affinity for being pulled over or live in the state of CA I would avoid nitrous.

yeah the nitrous fill ups would be a hassle.

as far as a used supercharger + mods it would most likely void my warranty anyways lol

so i mine as well go turbo

I would think that changing the stock internals would void your warranty just as much as a turbo. how could it not.

If you have an auto don't go turbo or s/c...complete waste of time and money.

smack dab in socal, where the cops arent so nice lol more concerned with tuners than robberies.

my tC is m/t.

ive actually had good fortune with the law enforcement. ive been pulled over about six times for speeding with six warnings. hehe

but yeah i suppose getting to 220 would be impossible to keep your warranty.

turbo it is?

Nitrous is the best way and retain your warranty, because you can rip it out before you're towed to the stealership but you will max out at about 200whp

With the S/C you can retain your warranty but by the time you do the mods to get it to 200whp you've voided the warranty.

Turbo...yeah unless you have an aftermarket warranty then your factory one is gone.
