My custom HKS intake
i went from an injen CAI to an injen/hks short ram because of all the rain down here, so yes i would say go for it.
only bad part is how dirty it gets so quick, i usually clean the filter every month and change to a new one every 6 months.

i decided on this because of the threat of hurricanes we get here. I dont want to worry about sucking up water either.
thats it, just the HKS cage and a HKS filter.

Cool, thanks. The cage in the link is the correct size, right? Thats not too pricey I guess. Also, is there any chance rain could get in? I have the normal hood so no vents there or anything.
i fixed the crooked filter, it was slanted a little because i had mounted the bolt to the chasis and didnt use a spacer in which normally the intakes come with. I made one out of pvc and it raised the intake up a little, now it looks better.
