When you're being kept up until all hours of the night by some jacka** kid running around your neighborhood pretending to be a race car driver with a loud and obnoxious fart cannon, you might actually get why there are dB laws in place.

By the way, you sound like an AutoZone commercial:

Seriously, if you can't keep your car quiet (IMHO that's less than ~90 dB), keep in on the track. (That goes for audio systems and super bass thumping jacka**es too.) Because I'll tell you one thing, it's the few that abuse the system which ruin it for the rest of us. Fix the car, get it tested, and be done with it. No more whining about "Popo pulled me over and gave me a ticket for being stupid" threads, please?

For the record the cop had no db meter. Also I got my car checked out by an inspection station he signed off on it and ticket was dropped. My exhaust is below -90 db. Im sorry if you think that I sound like an autozone camercial. I dont go around reving my engine i dont have a fart can. So b4 you go making judgements on people maybe you should find out the details first. You are entitled to your opinions as everyone else is, but I think you will find more often than not people on here either have or want to have a louder exhaust or better performing exhaust. Im not trying to break the sound barrier. Cops are just dicks around here. I got pulledc over 3 times when I had the trd axle back exhaust from scion, that is not loud at all. Its just they see a big muffler and think hey lets try and get lucky and pull this guy over and see if he is up to no good.

lol this is changin into an arguement. Thought scionlife was to help people? well to backup jester, ive been f*d by the pigs too. Either by lockin me up last year for stupid domestic violence , dont wanna get into that,... then lockin me up againf or disturbing the peace. Well anyway ive been pulled over many times , never got a ticket though ,just them wanting to bother me. I have the tanabe touring as an axleback. and cmon that damn thing sounds like stock. lol. so Nychold dont hurt this guys feelings, maybe u just havnt experienced the pain of a bit*h cop or maybe you are one? lol but i do agree with those punks that run around at like 2am pretending they r racing chris rado or drifting against tsuchiya. especially loud bikes on my block. But most people just love to express how they are , or love to blow their ears with loud bass. Though those things dont look quiet, jeterscourt says they are -90db which is niceeee. So i hope things go well, i got court next month too.

parts arriving wednesday, getting it done at toyota.
trd axleback, everything else down to the front to back is stock, new bumper and what not.
i'm throwing away the m.r headers and my full cat exhaust that i currently have.
if you're interested in taking those parts, just pm me. pick up only, i'm not shipping it. otherwise i'm just going to junk it within a week.

even if it was quieter, it'd still be clear as day that it's a "modified muffler" if a cop was driving behind you. No matter what, it's going to be louder than stock and it's obvious as hell it's modified so going with any other exhaust other than maybe the OEM looking ones (Megan OE setup, Magnaflow, Borla, TRD, etc...) you're most likely going to run into problems with the law.
