so i have a brand new White 2008 Tc

and so far we have a
TRD Exhaust
TRD Strut Bar
and 20% Tint

and our next mod is to do Headers and Intake
and people are saying that you can not fit a
2007 intake or any model headers on the
2008 since the engine compartment is different

and if u put a 2006 header on a 2008 it wont fit and even if it does fit that u will lose horseppower and torque

but when i asked scion life the members of scion life
they said that a 2007 intake will fit a 08
and any year headrs will fit a 2008 tc

So now i need proven facts and pictures of intakes and headers put on a 2008
Because i was looking at getting a INjen CAI and Alphawerks HEaders

Any 07-up intake will fit on your car. I don't know who's telling you that the engine bay has changed, but I'd like to know where they get their info because I've never heard anything like that.

Same goes for the header (singular, we only have one), except ANY year header should fit just fine. Good luck finding an AW though - they don't make them anymore. You MIGHT be able to find one used... but I'd look into the MMW or Tsudo or Mazzuri, since they probably one of the best designs for the tC (actual 4-2-1, not 4-1).

false... intake will work

way fukin false....header will fit and u wont loose hp/tq..maybe in the initial jump (typical of header swap) but from the mid range an up no.

mmw 4-2-1,alphaworks 4-1 or mazzuri 4-2-1 headers ONLY for a tc.. the rest are garbage

well mi friends says he talked to the people at Scion
and the People at the Toyata dealership
and they are the ones that said all this

they said that it wont fit...

they say the engine is different from 07 and 08

so i am confused too

and i dont wanna buy the wrong stuff u knhow

okay, you are talking to the people who own and modify their scions. the only thing that has changed over the production years of the scion is a different maf sensor so the performance intakes for the 05-06 scion tc's won't fit the 07-08 scion tc's. this also goes for the supercharger, and all turbo kits have to be 07-08 specific.

the headers still fit exactely the same. on all years.

the header will lose some low end power for more top end power, but considering you are going from a header with a catalytic convertor to one without, do you really think it is possible to lose power?

the maf s differant on 07 up, all else is the same, you know how i know this,because all my other parts say 05 and up and mines 07. sounds like dealer want to sell you thier mods.
