from my post above:

"i got my invidia last week, it's bigger than 2.25".
my caliper reading puts it at 2.5" outer diameter, and 2.4" inner diameter...at both ends. "

i have to put two slabs of wood down when i jack my car up (with my floor jack) .... one slab for the back two wheels and one for the front. If I dont do that the jack would sink right into my driveway. Anybody that has a backtop driveway (a nice one) - put the wood under it because it will sink down - take my advice.

To the wood splitting comment - if you have one inch wood and it split a tad .... whats the worst thats going to happen? ....better the wood cracking then your driveway.

but hey - thats my 2cents.

um, f the wood...i'd rather not have my chest split.

i already saw the jacks sink into my driveway...plus i'd get stand A up, then go to the other side, jack B and when that was set, A would be off kilter. So i don't trust that system. i think i am going to get the ramps. plus i think i need them so the wheels are supported for the sway install.
i just hate the fact that the clearance is so low.

oh - im sayin get a floor jack and put a piece of wood under the wheels so it doesnt sink into your driveway ..... dont jack the car up and keep it jacked up w/ piled up wood ....just use it for the driveways sake.

Does anyone know if the invidia s-pipe will work with the 28" magnaflow resonator and how it will sound? cause my resonator is arriving tomorrow, and i already ordered the cc s-pipe from a ____ty company and am prb going to cancel the order because ive been waiting like 3 weeks already for it to arrive... im so angry... so now i want the invidia... what do you think it will sound like with that resonator? and will it fit?

the spipe goes into the midpipe which the resonator gets connected to about a third of the way down. - so it wouldnt be a matter of it fit because you need to make the midpipe fix if getting custom made.

Do you have a shop that could make one to go with your spipe and axel back?

then there ya go - get the spipe (maybe a header) and axel back - then bring it in to get the midpipe made to those specs and you will be golden.

well i got the invidia s-pipe dyno'd on saturday. holy crapload. best $150 i've spent apparently.

i only have that and the trd exhaust on (i figure that adds pretty much nothing but a deep tone). no air intake, no headers. both cats.
anyway...

on a dyno dynamics:

139 whp sae corrected
144 whp uncorrected (for bragging rights i guess)
120 bhp (yeah, maybe if i lived in europe i'd care)

and that's on an AUTOMATIC gentlemen.

Those are nice numbers for an automatic. Did you feel any gain from the S pipe?

it couldnt be. That pipe just changes the flow and is prob a tad bigger so the air isnt as restricted. As for the sound - it still goes into the same cat and out the muffler.

no, the only sound difference is from the trd exhaust. i will be honest, i didn't feel a damn bit of difference. but anyone that tells you they can feel 10hp...i'd be wary..anyway, i have tons of junk and dynamat so that's weighing me down.
i thought i was going to pull a solid 125..so that was pleasantly surprising.

^ I agree - 10hp maybe you can feel - 15+ is a very small increase. Thats why I keep telling people to mod in groups so they atleast feel a result.
