I go to the dealership cuz i got the common clutch sequel. Didn't feel like fixing it myself cuz im lazzzy so I used the warranty.
Tech comes back and tells me that he could just lubricate it and it'll fix it for a while but ultimately I need a new throw out bearing, pressure plate, and i THINK he said a new master cylinder. He said that there's also a very small chance that I'll need a new tranny. This sound about right?
I mean either way idc, new parts for free ftw.

only got 20k on it. Not sure why they failed. I had a bad squeak goin on for a while, maybe the lack of lubricant cause it to wear down. The parts aren't failing. I can still drive fine, but he said they'll need to be replaced.
I have the same thing going on with my clutch and whine on acceleration, grinding on deceleration. Ive been telling the techs about the issues since the car had 1k miles on it. It has 14k now and the dealership is finally willing to set me up with the field rep. My transmission needs to be replaced. Hopefully toyota will go along with it.
i had the squeek for awhile..than my master completely went out..guess that broke because of the throw out bearing..idk but i still have this annoying knock but it goes away when i step on the clutch
Your throw out bearing shouldn't have any effect on your clutch master cylinder going bad, something else caused that.
However your "knock" that goes away when you step on the clutch is probably a bad throw out bearing.
You might want to get that replaced.
