Probably within the first month of owning it, all gentle city driving. I broke the f_ckin' shift **** before the car was even broken in!

i have the round knobby one w/o the mesh and its still works fine. although ive since changed it to a corolla xrs **** which looks a look cleaner. too bad it shows a 6 speed config on it. i have to put black tape over it whenever someone else has to drive it.

What aobut they turbo kits? They offer full turbo kits and one for a scion tc? We just got the price sheet today and we can start ordering. I am checking out this kit. Anyone interested in it? I can offer some sweet deals. like $2000 shipped to your door!

i have the leather obx thing and pedals. the pedals seem to come off easily, but the **** so far has been fine-appearance wise. the adapter thing that screws into the inside of the **** to fit on the shifter-that thing IS a pos. i'm driving the other day and i notice little chunks of white stuff all over. i'm looking at it like what the hell is that. found a bigger piece on the floor and i realized it was the piece from inside the ****. what a crap bag-i've had the thing for a month.

the only option I got from the factory is the OBX leather shift ****.. boy, was that a mistake. a few days later the crappy plastic threads stripped and the shifter wouldn't stay on. I brought it back to the dealer and they replace it once, but told me since I had a short shifter they will not replace it again. a few days later the same thing happened to the OBX shift ****. right now I have a cheap one I picked up at autozone for about $15, it's really not bad at all.

on a side note, I put on the OBX pedals a few days after I got the tC and I love them.

I notice in your sig you got the ground effects added on as an option from the factory.

that is a completely worthless option and costs around $1,000.. what's next a giant $500 spoiler?

a shift **** & pedals cost under $100 combined..

possibily you're the highschool VTEC punk that doesn't know how to spend his money?

Obviously he does know how to spend his money because he's got some good performance mods in addition to the ground effects kit. I've got a "ricey" ground effects kit on my car too but I still got more performance gain from my header and intake than you did from your pedal covers and shift ****.

The ground effects kit looks good... it looks like it should actually be on the car stock. Unlike clamp on pedal covers with fake chrome that peels off, or fake carbon fiber shift ***** that look like little anodized cans of soup sticking off your shift boot.

You're right... he did pay $1,000 for a mod, and so did I, but it did make his car look better. You wasted $100 on some crap that made your car look like it was accessorized by a group of Autozone tuners. What's your point?

why did you spend $1,000 on ground effects if you're looking for performance? the ground effects are just going to slow you down from the extra weight.

or you could of actually done something that would of made it faster (not slower) for that $1,000.

let me guess, what's next a carbon fiber hood so you can save 13lbs?

the stock pedals on the tC made a really annoying squeaking sound whenever my shoes were a little bit wet.. with the OBX pedals there isn't that annoying sound anymore and they look great. way better then the stock plain pedals.

the shift was a mistake, but I didn't know the quality of the product was that bad. (that's the only option I ordered from the factory)
