Looks like some oil is leaking out from the valve cover.
is that normal.

I been checking the dip stick, the oil level is between full for the past 3000 miles.

if its leaking from the valve cover and your out of warranty, replace the valve cover. should take no longer then 10-15 min. if its under warranty, take it in.

valve covers leak from time to time with age. keep up on it or it will make a mess.

 

from looking at the engine bay, aftermarket headers that are wrapped, i'd say they'll deny his warranty claim...

Are there any gasket under the cover?

 

Just go to Napa and get the gasket. Looks like oil might actually be getting slung out from the S/C. Not for sure though as I don't have a S/C myself.

 

Is there oil on the supercharger shaft? If so then it could be coming from the valve cover. If not then its shooting out from the supercharger seals.

 

no oil on the supercharger. it is from the valve cover. I think i am going to just replace the gasket.

 

might as well get a full gasket kit. (if avalable for that motor. i did a trecel the other day) cost about 17 bucks for valve cover and spark plug gaskets

 

or if you have a lil extra cash go with the metal gasket

there is no "metal gasket". the only "metal" gasket is the head gasket

 

its a rubber gasket its very easy to replacenever heard of a metal valve cover gasket for our cars ....have heard of the metal head gasket that our cars come with stock.

Looks like a minor leak, you can try retorquing the valve cover bolts of just get the new gasket
